They do. An Offer in Compromise (OIC) is just one way TaxLution achieves a drastically reduced ‘settlement’ for our clients. Depending on your assets and income, you may qualify for such a settlement. Other solutions that TaxLution negotiates can also result in a dramatically reduced debt as well. Solutions such as a ‘Partial Pay’ Installment Agreement or even a ‘Currently Non-Collectable’ status could leverage the IRS’ own rules regarding statutes of limitations in the taxpayer’s favor, resulting in our clients paying significantly less.

At TaxLution, we ensure that only licensed IRS Enrolled agents conduct our free consultations with taxpayers. In contrast, competitors often employ unlicensed salespeople with titles like ‘senior analyst’ or ‘tax strategist’ to conceal their lack of credentials. While this approach may suffice for cookie-cutter companies offering one-size-fits-all solutions, we understand that each tax situation is unique. Factors such as age, level of education, earning potential, past earnings, age of the debt, and even the income of a non-liable partner can influence the strategy. Our clients recognize the importance of having elite tax help, starting with the consultation.

Most of our individual taxpayer customers will never speak to an IRS agent or Revenue Officer after hiring our firm. IRS Form 2848 is a limited power of attorney and allows our federally licensed representatives at TaxLution to assume contact and communication with the IRS. Once you sign a power of attorney with TaxLution, it replaces any prior POA you may have signed. On occasion, for business IRS tax matters, a business owner or company affiliate could be required to be present on a phone call along with our representative.
These days, the IRS isn’t exactly staffed to handle tax professionals barging into their buildings each morning, paperwork in-hand, demanding to resolve tax matters face-to-face. In fact, most IRS tax issues are handled by IRS call center personnel. Luckily, technology allows us to navigate the IRS administrative collections process via phone, fax, and online IRS document portals, regardless of your location. Even if you have been assigned to a local IRS Revenue Officer, the Revenue Officer is still required to work with TaxLution.

Our priority for every new client is to shield you from aggressive ‘enforced collection’ efforts by the IRS or state. That’s why we immediately work towards obtaining a stay of enforced collections on your bank accounts, wages, assets, or accounts receivable. Within minutes of hiring TaxLution, we submit the necessary IRS forms to take immediate action with IRS or state taxing authorities. Rest assured that if your home or funds are being threatened or taken, TaxLution can help. Even funds that have already been taken can sometimes be returned.
